The Integrated Justice Information System (IJIS) serves as a centralized data repository for criminal justice information. Initiated in 2000, the Sacramento County Criminal Justice Cabinet championed the IJIS Program to foster an information-sharing model, which aims to facilitate data exchange among IJIS partners, thereby bolstering public safety and justice.
Mission
The mission of the IJIS Committee is to:
- Improve the efficiency and effectiveness of justice agencies and the Court
- Enrich the quality of justice
- Enhance the safety of Sacramento citizens through the integration and timely sharing of criminal justice information
